Payment Industry Innovator Base Commerce Accommodating Growth by Relocating and Also Rebranding

Base Commerce, LLC, a technology-driven payment processing company specializing in bankcard and ACH payment processing solutions, has moved into a larger facility to accommodate its rapidly growing operations. The company’s new headquarters at 5055 E. Washington Street, Suite 300, Phoenix, AZ 85034 is close to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, making it a convenient location for meetings with clients, banking partners, and prospective clients.

In tandem with the relocation, Base Commerce has launched a new brand to better represent its posture in the market as an innovative industry leader. Additionally, Base Commerce will be dropping the “Commerce” appendage to its name for external communication.

“Our double-digit year-over-year growth in recent years necessitated the move to a larger facility to ensure we can continue to provide the exceptional service and support we’re known for in the payments industry,” said David Schoenecker, Chief Operating Officer at Base Commerce. “And, as we begin our second decade as a leading provider of payment acceptance solutions, it’s the perfect time to update the Base brand.”

Base serves clients in a wide range of industries including property management, consumer finance and collections, tolling, parking and transportation, and charitable giving. These organizations leverage the company’s advanced payments technology and services to streamline payment acceptance and provide a more fluid experience for their customers.

“Our merchants and business partners have always referred to us simply as Base, so adopting that handle more formally as we update our visual identity makes sense,” added Schoenecker “We feel that all of the changes we’re making send a strong signal to the industry that we’re charging into our next 10 years with the same energy, enthusiasm, and innovative spirit that established us as a leader in our field in 2008.”

Base Commerce Celebrates 10 Years

Ten years ago, Base Commerce was a small company with big aspirations driven by the vision of John Kirchhefer and Brian Bonfiglio. Today, we have a team of over 50 employees and continue to hire the best and brightest in our industry to fill key roles as we expand both our offerings and our geographic footprint, which now reaches the East Coast.

In the last year alone, we have created new departments and added to our suite of leading-edge technology to give our clients an even greater competitive advantage in their industries and to grow our portfolio and partner relationships.

As we reflect on our first decade, we’re pleased to say that we have evolved in the payments industry and secured our position as an innovator and leader in a competitive marketplace. Our company continues to flourish and with double-digit, year-over-year growth and we are tracking for continued exponential growth.

While our business success has been and continues to be notable, we are most proud of the collective mindset of our team and what it means for our clients. We function as a family, with the creativity, attitude, and hustle of a start-up, but the experience and professionalism of an industry veteran and recognized authority. None of this would be possible without our committed staff.

“Our success is continuously measured by the quality and commitment of our outstanding team, our long list of loyal partners and merchants, and our robust service offerings,” commented Brian Bonfiglio, President and CEO. “We’re proud of how far we have come and eager to embark on the next 10 years of client satisfaction and strong growth.”

Our first 10 years at Base Commerce has been an exciting adventure that empowered our team to strive for more and reach even greater heights. As we celebrate this milestone, we note our gratitude for being trusted to serve so many in our industry. And, we promise that the next 10 years is going to be even more epic than the first.
